How do I register my child for the race?
Every participant, even a child, must have their own account. If the child does not yet have an email address, which is a requirement for setting up an account, then the parent's email address can be used. The same applies to the other required data, which are home address or telephone number. Again, you are filling in the details of the child's legal representatives.
What is the Family Discount Bundle and how can I get it?
This is a discount on the start fee offered to families when 2 adults and up to 3 children participate in the same city. However, the discount is only applicable when all family members register in one order. With this bulk registration, children have free start fees for children's races (does not apply to creating registrations for children for 3, 5, 10 KM distance and ČEZ relay races). I didn't enter or entered the wrong variable symbol. What should I do?
In this case, please contact us at info@run-tour.eu and send us a copy of your bank statement/screenshot from online banking to show that the charge has been made. We will try to trace your payment according to this document and put everything in order.
When will my start number arrive?
The start number in electronic form will arrive in your e-mail the week before each ČEZ RunTour race together with the most important information before the start. You will pick it up physically at the race package distribution the day before the race in the Saturday race technical area or on the day of the race in the registration tent.
Where can I check that the registration was successful?
Successful registration can be verified on the race start list on the website www.run-tour.cz under the specific "City" tab. Once you have completed your registration, you will also receive an e-mail confirmation from us to the contact e-mail you have provided.
My account password is not working. Who can help me with this?
First, please try the option to generate a new password by clicking on the "Forgot your password?" link on our website under the Account Login tab. If you are still unsuccessful, please contact us via email at info@run-tour.eu.
Can someone else pick up my start package?
Yes, they can. In order to issue the package, we will need to see a copy of your ID and the email we sent you with the assigned start number.
When and where can I pick up my start package?
The start package can be picked up the day before the race at the Saturday race technical area from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm (location is specified on the race/city page on the website www.run-tour.cz). And then on the day of the race in the registration tent from 8.30 am until the start of the race itself (depending on distance).
I did not enter my full name in the subject line. Is that a problem?
This is not a problem, payments are matched by variable symbol. So as long as that's entered correctly, everything will be fine.
Can the race be transferred to another city or another person?
Yes, registration transfer is possible. NOTE, changes can only be made within a given calendar year (not from year to year). The following options are available:
- from runner to runner
- from distance to distance
- from city to city – this change can only be made online no later than Friday 5pm the week before the race.
Free change of registration is possible until FRIDAY until 5 pm 3 weeks before each race (exception is the race in Prague, where change of registration is possible until FRIDAY until 5 pm four weeks before the race). After this deadline, the registration change is charged CZK 100 for 3, 5, 10 KM and ČEZ relays. Re-registration for children's 500m and 1000m races costs CZK 50. These changes can be made every working day from 10 am to 5 pm until Friday a week before the race.
In the email, please include your first name, last name, original city and distance, and the new city and distance you want to transfer the race to. If you are transferring your registration to another person, you will need to include their RTID as well.
Only the owner of the registration can change the registration.
In case I cannot participate in the race for health or other reasons at the last minute, can someone else run with my start number?
Unfortunately, that's not possible. The start number is printed and chipped in the name of the registered runner. If you give your number to another person, this is a violation of the rules and will result in disqualification of that participant.
Can I pay for two or more orders in one lump payment?
Only if a family registration is created (via the so-called group management, which is described in detail here). If the registrations were created separately, i.e. within different orders, then each one must be paid separately so that the variable symbols are correctly paired with the order.
I want to give the start fee as a gift, but I don't want the recipient to know about it.
For this purpose, we offer the possibility of purchasing the start fee in the form of a gift voucher. The procedure is as follows. Log in to your account on the website www.run-tour.cz (if you do not have an account, you must first create one) and click on the "Buy a Gift Voucher" tab. You will enter the runner's details (name, date of birth) but the email contact of you. Once you have completed your order and made payment, you will receive an electronic link in your email to download the "voucher". Please be sure to remind the gift recipient that they must still redeem the "voucher" in their name (this time in the gift recipient's account under the "Redeem Gift Voucher" tab) to properly complete the registration process. This step pairs the voucher with the gift recipient's account and puts the gift recipient's name on the start list for the race ordered.
I received a gift voucher and it doesn't suit the city it is registered to. Is it possible to change it?
It can be changed. Register your voucher using your original details and then contact us to arrange the change.
I want a name on the start number, how do I do that?
Your name will be on the start number automatically if you register no later than 15 working days before the race (for the race in Prague no later than 20 working days).
How and when can I get my race photos and diploma?
Your race photos and diploma will be sent to you in the mail on the day of the race. The diploma is also available for download on our website in the results section.
Why isn't the ranking based on the net time?
The ranking is not based on the net time because the official time is calculated according to the rules of athletics, i.e. from the start shot. The net time is for information only.
Where and how can I register a tandem?
You will find the option to create a tandem in your RunTour accounts (you can find the tandem options in the race rules on our website). You can register a tandem from your RunTour account. The procedure is as follows:
1) one of the tandem members logs into their RunTour account;
2) clicks on the "Create a tandem" tab;
3) fill in the RTID numbers of both participants, type the name of the tandem and confirm the choice.
A valid tandem is one that is registered online by 8pm on the Friday before each race.
Can I also participate in the individual 10 km race as part of the ČEZ relay race?
Unfortunately, that's not possible. It is not possible to combine these participations. Either you participate in the ČEZ relay race or in an individual race. If you run the 10 km race with a relay start number, then only the relay participation will be entered in the results. You would look in vain in the results of an individual race.
